History

Queensland Bulk Terminals (QBT), formerly known as Brisbane Bulk Sugar Terminal, was constructed in 1985 to store and handle bulk sugar.

The site was acquired by Wilmar Trading (Australia) Pty Ltd, in 2009 and following a major upgrade and expansion began storing and handling bulk grain for export in 2011, and bulk liquid commodities in 2012.

Today QBT has the capacity to store and handle over 800,000 metric tons of bulk grain and liquid commodities per annum.
